Citizen Spotlight: Troy Clawson | Owner of Bean Bank and TMC Tax Experience
Published June 15, 2026
“The absolute best way to grow a business in a small community is to genuinely become a part of that community.”
That is the philosophy driving Troy Clawson, a passionate small business owner, local elected official, and resident of Youngsville Borough in Warren County. He and his wife have fully leaned into this mindset, taking their commitment a step further by purchasing the very building they operate out of. Together, they run Troy’s tax business, The TMC Tax Experience LLC, and have recently expanded their roots by opening Bean Bank, their brand-new local coffee shop, in the space.
Since opening the coffee shop doors, the local community has wrapped its arms around the venture. Troy shares that a steady stream of locals consistently pop in just to ask how things are going, showing a heartfelt collective desire to see a local business thrive.
For Troy, what is happening right now in Youngsville can best be described as a powerful “community momentum”—a shared, unstoppable progress where neighbors look out for neighbors.
While he acknowledges that Warren County is tight-knit and humble, he notes that it stands out in the best possible way. “We’re no different than any other place, but we’re very different,” Troy says. For anyone considering a visit or a move, his message is simple: Warren County would love to have you, but “you don’t know what’s here until you’re here.”
Warren County: The place to find your community momentum.
